How exactly does the pocketless attachment of BOBA+® work?
BOBA+® is a technical profile that is welded or sewn directly onto the bottom edge of the fabric. This profile then allows for a direct and secure connection to the bottom bar, completely eliminating the need to fold and sew the fabric to create the traditional pocket for the rod.
Is the fabric saving real? How is it calculated?
Yes, the saving is real and measurable. A traditional pocket requires folding about 2-2.5 cm (approx. 1 inch) of fabric on both sides (front and back), totaling 4-5 cm (1.5-2 inches) of material that remains hidden and unused. BOBA+® eliminates this fold, reducing waste and lowering production costs for every awning.
